About Chatwood…

Named after Niki’s longtime and top horse in the sport, Chatou 7, Chatwood Farm is a very special place for many reasons. Niki and Chatou’s partnership began in 2019 and, despite a gradual start as they built a connection, Chatou became an invaluable teacher both in and out of the show ring. Niki considers him her horse of a lifetime and credits him with many of the lessons that continue to shape her approach to training and riding.

Inspired by Chatou, Chatwood Farm was founded in Wellington, Florida, as a place to nurture young talent and build a world-class sales program. Having spent years developing her program, Chatwood Farm now focuses on training and sales, offering a tailored approach for each horse and client. Niki works closely with David Power, who oversees sales and sourcing, and provides high-level coaching to Niki and her students competing at the sport’s top levels.

In the fall 2024, Chatwood Farm proudly expanded to a second location at the Florida Equestrian Center in Miami, bringing training and care services closer to clients in the Miami area. This new base allows clients access to Wellington facilities while enjoying the convenience of local, elite-level care in Miami. The team at Chatwood Farm fosters a positive, collaborative environment to help both riders and horses thrive and achieve their goals in a fun, supportive atmosphere.

Chatwood Farm aspires to be a boutique, high-performance program, known for its meticulous attention to detail. The horses that join the Chatwood sales division are selected not only for their talent and potential but also for their temperament, resilience, and compatibility with riders. Past Chatwood sales graduates have gone on to compete and win in the North American Youth Championships, shine in the Grand Prix circuit, help riders progress through Junior and Amateur levels, and make their mark in top equitation finals.

In addition to expanding Chatwood’s reach, Niki is committed to advancing her own competitive career, training through the winter season in Wellington and competing internationally. With a deep respect for the sport and a vision to build lasting rider-horse partnerships, Chatwood Farm stands as a beacon of excellence and dedication in equestrian sports.
